The Civic’s been winning over my family with the kids impressed by how the door handles are hidden away in the C-pillars.
Meanwhile, Mrs R is happy that the standard sat nav on our ES-T model keeps us from getting lost, and I’m happy that I can fit my golf clubs in the back – actually I can fit three sets in!
Living with a car will always reveal its foibles but when it comes to the Honda Civic I’m struggling to find any. The engine could be a bit smoother and the cabin could be a little better laid out but I always end up forgiving the Civic in the weeks and many miles between fill-ups.
I shall be moving out of the Civic soon, and I’m already struggling to think of a car to replace it that’ll fit my needs as well as it has done. That’s not something I expected to be saying six months ago!
