HONDA is re-entering the small SUV market.
Eight years after the last Honda HR-V was discontinued, the company has revealed the first pictures of a new model, which will be seen in public in prototype form for the first time at the Paris motor Show next month.
Honda describes the new Honda HR-V’s styling as “coupé-like” with a sleek upper body mated to a more rugged, planted SUV-like lower half.
The company insists it has achieved this look without compromising on interior practicality. An unusual centrally-located fuel tank and Honda’s folding “Magic Seats” are supposed to help space and versatility substantially; the second row seats can be folded completely flat for added cargo space.
