Range of low emission engines
“As yet we don’t have any confirmed CO2 emission figures for our new range of i20 models, but I confidently expect them to be sub 95g/km so small businesses can benefit from first year allowances if they choose to buy.
“We have a choice of1.25- and 1.4-litre petrol engines and 1.1 and 1.4-litre diesel engines with a range of five- and six-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmission options. All will be Euro 6 [link to euro 6 diesel piece in green car section] compliant although we’re still finalising the definitive UK line up.
Because of the car’s larger size compared to its predecessor, and its appeal to those company car drivers looking to downsize, I suspect we’ll see more drivers looking towards the diesel.
