New BMW M3 saloon and M4 coupe blast in

Weight-saving measures, including a carbon-fibre reinforced plastic roof panel, mean the new cars lose about 80kg compared with their predecessors.

Extensive interior and exterior trim mods – including liberal use of the famous M logo – set the BMW M3 and M4 apart from their humbler 3 and 4 Series sister models.
