Mike was presenting at a special test drive Tesla Model S launch to invited SME customers, whom Fleetdrive is targeting with this car.

“It’s roughly the same contract hire price as a Range Rover Sport, but the savings after that are obvious,” Mike added.

“I see this primarily as an SME type car because they can make decisions quickly about car choice. And with the car’s impressive performance you can see why I’ve got a lot of interest!”

The Tesla Model S has the appearance of a sports saloon but actually has the versatility of a five door hatchback. Thanks to a pair of rear facing seats, the car can turn into a seven-seater.

The Tesla Model S is available in three versions:

  • Model S 60 kWh – 230 mile range, 0-60mph in 5.9 secs
  • Model S 85 kWH – 300 mile range, 0-60 mph in 5.4 secs
  • Model S 85 kWH Performance – 300 mile range, 0-60 mph in 4.2 secs

The Tesla Model S test drive event was held at Fleetdrive’s Marlow HQ in Buckinghamshire with both morning and afternoon sessions.

Fleetdrive plans further test drive events to showcase the Tesla Model S to SME customers along with the company’s business car lease – read the news story.
