New Ford Kuga is £1,000 cheaper

The new Ford Kuga SUV is bigger and more fuel efficient than the old model, but the entry level price is £1000 lower. It’s the fore-runner to an expansion in Ford’s SUV offering in Europe. The smaller EcoSport and larger Edge models will follow.

“The first-generation Ford Kuga was a huge success with customers. The all-new, second-generation Ford Kuga is a smarter, more fuel-efficient and even more fun to drive SUV,” said Roelant de Waard, vice president, Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford of Europe.

“Ford has a deep heritage and expertise in SUVs that we plan to leverage in Europe starting with the all-new Ford Kuga.”

And the new Kuga is only the start – soon Ford will be offering not just one SUV but a whole range of off-roaders in Europe, with the smaller EcoSport due to arrive soon from Latin America alongside the larger Edge from the US.
