  • Powered by new Lexus Multi Stage Hybrid System
  • European premiere of the LF-FC fuel cell saloon concept

HERE’S a treat for a high performer wanting to look good and feel good saving tax.

A new Lexus luxury hybrid version of the new LC coupe will be unveiled at the 2016 Geneva motor show. No details on performance or CO2 yet but it’s sure to be no slouch.

The LC 500h is equipped with a next generation hybrid powertrain, the Lexus Multi Stage Hybrid System, which it says will provide higher performance, more driving pleasure and greater efficiency.

The LC made its debut at the 2016 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, its styling, performance and craftsmanship positioning it as one of Lexus’s flagship models. The LC is built on a new Lexus architecture that promises greater dynamic capabilities.

The Lexus luxury hybrid coupe, inspired by the LF-LC concept that was revealed in 2012, marks the beginning of a new phase for the Lexus brand, with a shift in engineering processes and design ideologies. Its outstanding visual appeal has earned widespread praise, including two EyesOn Design awards for best production car and interior design at the 2016 NAIAS.

Lexus will also display the LF-FC concept at Geneva. Making its first European appearance, this is a visionary new vehicle which affords a glimpse of Lexus’s design and technology direction for a future flagship saloon. First seen at last year’s Tokyo motor show, the LF-FC is powered by a high-output fuel cell system and features advanced, touchless controls and automated driving technologies.
