Exclusive CV Show reveal: Nissan's new NV400 based chassis cab range

Author: Matt Morton NISSAN is really getting serious about its commercial vehicle offerings to business van managers and operators.

And if you want to see how serious, then head to the  CV Show at NEC  (April 24 – 26) where you can take an  exclusive preview of the new Nissan NV400 chassis cab range.

Not only that, but Nissan is launching a range of factory conversions that are just the stuff for SMEs with van operations.

Let’s start first with the star of the Nissan stand at the the CV Show, the reveal of both a mid and long wheelbase NV400 chassis cab in both front and rear wheel drive.

There will be two engine options of 125hp and 150hp and a total of 13 variants to choose from including a single cab and double cab.

The factory-built conversions initially comprise a dropside and tipper which are built on the production line and will be delivered to the operator ready for action.

The Nissan Good To Go range will include a box van, Luton and fridge van, plus a combi and minibus option built by UK converters  but sold by Nissan dealers with manufacturer warranty.

Nissan says that its factory built and Good to Go approach guarantees that operators receive a quality and fully approved conversion complete with a manufacturer warranty, and takes away the hassles sometimes connected with buying a chassis cab from a manufacturer and then having it converted by an external supplier.

More to the point, if you want a bespoke version of the NV400 chassis cab range, talk to Nissan at the CV Show because they want to work closely with business van operators to deliver a van to your exact requirements.

“The CV Show is a great platform to launch our new NV400 chassis cab and remind operators that Nissan has one of the widest LCV ranges on offer in the UK,” said James Douglas, Nissan’s corporate sales director, announcing the company’s latest business van news.

“With the NV400 semi forward van based chassis cab and the Cabstar truck chassis cab Nissan has two base vehicles that operators can use to build virtually any size or shape of conversion to match their business van requirements.”
