Business Car Manager Road Test Verdict

While the debate will rage for many months to come whether the Peugeot 308 deserves this year’s Car of the Year award, it remains a fine piece of kit and should go some way to undermining the perceived wisdom that small engines can’t power company cars.

They can. And can make a lot of sense for company car drivers who do fewer miles thanks to  low P11D values and the lower cost of unleaded at the fuelling stations.

So if you’re in the market for a new company car, do your maths first – a petrol company car can be more cost beneficial to you. Easier still – use our company car tax calculator to do it for you.
