Peugeot updates 208 and e-208

More than a million 208 models have been sold since the model’s launch at the end of 2019, with the 208 as the best-selling car in Europe in both 2021 and 2022. This success is due in no small part to the success of the 100% electric E-208. In 2022, the E-208 became Europe’s best-selling electric car in the B segment.

PEUGEOT has updated the 208 and E-208 with a new design, new powertrains and technologies across both fully electric and petrol variants.

The 208 was the best-selling car in Europe in 2022, with the new updates ensuring it will remain a favourite with buyers. Orders for the new 208 and E-208 will open in October 2023.

Jérôme Micheron, Peugeot Product Director: “Working on a model as iconic and successful as the 208 is always a tall order. Our aim was to take the design and performance of the 208 to a higher level while preserving the soul of this model in order to remain at the top of B-segment sales in Europe. The new 208 is more 208 than ever: more feline, more fun to drive, more technological, and all-in-all, more irresistible.”
