Porsche Macan
The Macan can offer a great return on your investment

CARS guaranteeing no depreciation or giving a return on your investment, are usually rarities such as classics and supercars.

But not anymore.

During research, CAP found that Porsche dealers have been barred from offering instant profits by buying cars back from customers.

As research from car information and running cost experts, CAP Automotive, has shown the baby Porsche SUV, the Macan, has joined the exclusive ranks of the depreciation-defying car.

Why? Customers know that the Macan is a great car and as a result has sold out until the middle of next year.

During research, CAP found that Porsche dealers have been barred from offering instant profits by buying cars back from customers.

As a result, Macan drivers who choose to sell after a couple of months ownership are likely to benefit from instant profits running into thousands.

CAP Car Pricing Expert Tim Bearder said: “There have always been a few cars that fetch more than their original cost new, when demand seriously outstrips supply.  But we’re usually talking about situations where someone is lucky enough to be able to afford to spend £75,000 plus on a rarity, classic or supercar.

“But the Macan, starting at just under £44,000 for a standard diesel model, costs much less new than any car that would normally guarantee you no depreciation or even a return on your investment.”
