Business Car Manager road test verdict
The Range Rover Sport does a lot of things you’d expect a Range Rover to do very well. It’s comfortable, refined, good off-road and comes with an impressive 3,500kgs towing capacity, but in a business car comparison you’d be better off getting a standard Range Rover if you can stretch to it, or even one of the recently updated SUV models like the Mercedes M-Class.
If you really do have your heart set on a Range Rover Sport then be prepared to pay to run it as this will be one of the most costly company cars on the road. Our advice would be to wait for the next-generation model late in 2013, which will be more comfortable, more sporty and cheaper to run when it comes to the pence per mile.
