Park sensibly

Clearly it’s best to find a parking spot as close to your destination as possible. But look out for possible damage. For example, if it’s in the supermarket, avoid the bay close to the trolley park so as to avoid accidental damage from an errant trolley – remember, you’ll have to pick up the repair bill! Give yourself plenty of room to manoeuvre – think about getting back into the car afterwards, and whether you can make sure there is still space for you to do that, even if this means parking a little further away.
