The Pre Budget Report increased the amount of road tax – or Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) – payable next year.
The changes in road tax see an increase of £5 across the board for 2009-10. Non Euro 4 and Euro 5 engines will see a further increase in VED from 2010. As will those vans registered before 01 March 2001.
