Pulling power: With less power the XF SE Business still impresses

Verdict

The Jaguar XF is a desirable car, contemporary looking and rewarding to drive. With the 163 PS 2.2D engine, the XF now comes within closer reach of more business car drivers as the most affordable Jaguar in the current range. It has a well-appointed cabin with a great sense of theatre that sets it apart from other cars in its class.

The Jaguar XF SE Business is not necessarily the most savvy choice from a fiscal company car comparison viewpoint, because it incurs higher company car tax than, say, a BMW 520d. But it is characterful, has the patriotic appeal of being made in Britain, and feels a lot of car for just over £30,000. More to the point, it will also make you feel very special.
