The new Renault Clio will feature an optional Carminat TomTom satellite navigation system.

The 5.8 inch non-touch TomTom screen will be updatable via an SD card.

Updates include: navigation with the latest maps; safety cameras; and Points of Interest (POIs).

The Carminat TomTom will cost under £500 as an option.

The system will be rolled out on the Renault Megane and Renault Scenice models too.

Later in the year TomTom satnav systems will also feature in Toyotas.
