142 – Geneva Motor Show, part 5

Share

12 March 2009

Press day can be a long affair at Geneva. After some 10 hours at the show it felt like it had been a very long, if enjoyable day.

I met Mark Bursa in the press room. Mark is the editor of our sister magazine Business Van Manager. Food was in order to sustain flagging spirits.

We jumped on the bus back to central Geneva and found the Cafe de Paris – great for steak and frites. There was no space inside, but outside there was seating with some warmers. Mind you, it was still fairly chilly.

Sharing a litre of Swiss red wine, a brilliant steak and some good conversation with Mark rounded off a great day. As you can see from the grinning goons in the photos – and apologies for the quality.)

While Geneva is strictly an all-car show, there were several good van and pick up stories. Click on the highlighted link to read Mark’s Geneva Show
report in Business Van Manager.

End of the day
