318 – The comfort of heated seats

Setting heated seat

Alison sets the heated seat control

And security of sat-nav

BRRRR…..Bit chillier this morning. We’ve got the looking after our nephew duties this weekend. Well, Alison has; I’m ducking out and off to watching Quins play Toulouse in the Heineken Cup tonight. We need to win this one (without blood tactics – ahem!).

Anyway. I digress. It meant Alison has to pick up our nephew. So thank goodness for the heated seats in the Audi A6. You know how tense you can get in a car when it’s cold? Well, if you have a chance, next time you order a new car, go for heated seats. It will help relax you, especially as we head towards the chillier months. (Incidentally, Richard Crosthwaite from Glass’s swears by heated seats to help his bad back.)

And the sat-nav. Where our neice lives is a touch complicated to reach. Some of it is main roads but towards the end there’s a series of junctions, turns, and so on where sat-nav comes into its own. Without the guidance you can get hopelessly lost.

“It’s a very simple system to use,” says Alison. “When I know I need the navigation I use the Audi instead of my Fiat 500.”
