TRUSTFORD, the nationwide Ford of Britain dealer group, has appointed Steve Hood as its chief operating officer.

Steve Hood is no stranger to Ford’s dealer group – which recently joined all its trading names such as Polar Ford and Dagenham Motors under the TrustFord nameplate  – as he was previously the company’s strategy director.

The TrustFord group operates from 65 sites across the UK primarily serving the SME small fleet market with new company cars and business vans, service and after sales.

With broad automotive experience, Steve Hood is returning to TrustFord following three years working as the director of sales operations in Ford of Europe.

During his recent role Steve had been responsible for developing dealer network strategies in Europe and developing the retail experience for Ford customers.

Ford of Europe vice president marketing sales and service, Roelant de Waard, had this to say about the appointment of Steve Hood:
