HOW do you fancy 420PS under your right foot in a car that’s been signed off by Formula 1 world champion  Sebastian Vettel?

All yours, then.

But be quick. Only 200 Infiniti  FX Sebastian Vettel sporting SUVs are being produced. With 420PS it will be the most powerful Infiniti on sale in Europe – and certainly at the extreme end of Infiniti’s offering of sporting luxury.

We have no word on prices yet – but for successful entrepreneurs being told the FX Sebastian Vettel will be the most expensive Infinit model on sale won’t be any deterrent, whatever your firm’s company car policy!

The production version will match the 420PS output of the concept car making it the most powerful Infiniti yet to be sold by the European business unit.  Although no price is available yet, it will also be the most expensive.

The Infiniti  FX Sebastian Vettel first broke as business car news when the model was shown as a concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show (see photograph below). The car is the result of  a collaboration between Red Bull Racing’s champion racing driver and global brand ambassador, Sebastian Vettel, and Infiniti’s chief designer, Shiro Nakamura.

The sporting SUV features sophisticated technology, such as Rear Active Steering for maximum agility, lightweight components and an engine based on the V8 FX50S Premium – the current Infiniti flagship.  Changes including increased power, lower weight, longer gearing, increased downforce and lowered, stiffer suspension turn what is already a sports car among crossovers into what Infiniti claims is a crossover supercar.

Convinced you want one. Throttle down to your nearest Infiniti dealer to make a reservation. First deliveries will be from early 2013.
