Business Car Manager Road Test Verdict

Thoughtful: Well laid out major and minor controls - and no vase

While a much more masculine and dynamic take on the previous Beetle, the new one remains firmly in the fashionista camp being more interesting with its looks than about how well it performs as transport.

Will sell to those for whom image is their driving factor. But for a business car manager looking for consistent company car choices, the hatchback Golf makes a more practical and persuasive argument and there’s less to pay for the driver in company car tax.
