In each case, the SE version of each model is used as the base car for the Black Edition model, but loaded up with extra equipment worth at least £1,200, rising to £3,200 in the case of the Superb; the net benefit to the customer is up to £1,720.

Examples of ŠKODA Black Edition equipment, which varies across the range, include:

  • black alloy wheels,
  • additional black exterior styling details,
  • sunset privacy glass, sat nav,
  • DAB digital radio,
  • cruise control,
  • floor mats and
  • metallic or pearl effect paint.

Prices for ŠKODA Black Edition models range from £10,090 for the Citigo to £23,990 for the Yeti.

Alasdair Stewart, ŠKODA brand director, said: “The Black Edition cars further enhance the cutting-edge contemporary style to the entire range of ŠKODA passenger cars, yet still have our core philosophy of value-for-money motoring at their centre.”
