Proper Planning and Preparation Prevents Poor Performance – Thinking ahead and planning will resolve most problems before they happen

The office Christmas party is mostly looked forward to by all and it is likely that a lot of alcohol will be consumed! However, making sure that your staff have the right advice regarding drinking and driving and providing transport if possible will make all the difference when it comes to avoiding any accidents.

Breaking down

Have you made sure that your company cars are equipped for break down in severe weather? Make sure that all cars have a blanket or heavy coat stored safely away, a warning triangle, a torch, a snow shovel or spade and of course, a first aid kit. It is also a good idea to carry some drinking water and long-lasting food items like breakfast bars in case the driver finds themselves stranded for any period of time.

Before long journeys, it is always Adding de-icer or antifreeze to your washer liquid can also come in very handy for them times you can’t get out of your car in traffic and snow may be falling, simply mixing de-icer at an equal level with your washer fluid could prove very smart for them times you just can’t get out of your vehicle to scrape that bit of snow or ice off your windscreen.
