Low Cost Vans scored again with sponsorship of the Sellebrity Soccer match.
It’s the second time Low Cost Vans has supported the event, which took place at Swansea’s Liberty Stadium, sponsoring the home team.
Over 6,000 people turned out to watch the game on 312 May and view celebrities raising money for charity. Last year, the home team won with a score of 14-12, but in 2015 a trio of late goals saw the away team steal the trophy.
Team captain of the home team captain was EastEnders’s actor Adam Woodyatt, while Jake Quickenden was captain for the away side. On the home team were boxer Enzo Maccarinelli, Lee Trundle, Sam Bailey, and Anthony Costa, as well as other famous faces.
Director of Low Cost Vans, Rod Lloyd, said:
“It was such a great event; we were thrilled to be involved again, as it was in aid of such a great cause. It would have been great to see the home team win again, but it was fantastic game nevertheless.”
What is Sellebrity Soccer?

- It recruits high profile names to compete in soccer matches all over the UK to raise money for worthy causes.
- The charity this year was SwansAid, which is a community trust fund formed by Swansea City AFC; SwansAid was also the charity for last year’s match.
