Name change to Daimler Fleet Management

The former DaimlerChrysler Fleet Management becomes Daimler Fleet Management from today (01 April).

The change in name follows the divestiture of the Chrysler brand from the Daimler Group last year.

DFM currently operates a UK fleet of over 49,000 vehicles in the UK. It is the eighth largest contract hire provider in the Fleet News FN50 league table.

Daimler Fleet Management (DFM) will continue to support the businessmotoring.co.uk free pdf download series of advice articles in the Knowledge Bank.

DFM says the changes will have minimal impact on customers and suppliers and DFM will continue to provide funding solutions for all makes of cars and light commercial vehicles.

“The change of name is simply a legal formality,” commented Paul Harrop, sales & marketing director, DFM. “What does not change is the broad range of cars and vans we can offer to small businesses.”

Contract hire rentals based on a 36 month contract, 10,000 miles per annum and include maintenance but no relief car. The payment profile is 3+35. Prices correct March 2008.
