Smart: Models and mobiles are catered for with the latest app from the CV Show

The CV Show is going mobile.

Organisers have launched the digital CV Show app, a comprehensive reference guide to the event, available for free download from www.cvshow.com.

Designed to work across iPad, iPhone, desktop and Android devices, the app gives Show visitors a detailed list of exhibitors’ contact details with web links and company information.

There is also a complete floor plan that can be zoomed in and out. The newly developed app has been built to download onto your smartphone or tablet and functions offline as well as when connected to mobile or wi-fi networks.

CV Show attendees will be able to use the instant search function, giving results as you type, to find company details for all exhibitors at the Show, including looking up their exact stand location within the NEC. Visitors can also utilise the keyword function to search for exhibitors based on product type and the sector of the industry they operate within.

There is no login required for the app and users can save stand locations to their ‘favourites’ tab before the Show to ensure they have a ready-made list of the exhibitors that they don’t want to miss once there.

The zoomable Show plan allows users to look around their current location easily to find other stands nearby that they may wish to visit, and also acts as a convenient orientation tool to navigate through the halls.

Exhibitors using Twitter will have their feeds displayed in their company profile, and the home screen of the app will show all tweets about the Show, encouraging attendees to add to the discussion using the hashtag ‘#CVShow’.
