In addition we’ll run the Best SME Company Car – Readers’ Award, chosen from the most searched for cars on our company car tax calculator, and also awarding the SME Company Car of the Year, picked by our judges from the winning entries.

“Our readers need to know the most cost effective and tax efficient cars to run for their SME operations and which dealers they can turn to for genuine small business support,” said editorial director Ralph Morton.

“Our awards will rubber-stamp the best available cars and programmes for the SME market.”

SME Company Car of the Year Awards 2014 judges

  • SME expert Keith Hawes, managing director of MAGMA Automotive Services, sponsors of the SME Company Car of the Year Awards 2014.​
  • Company car tax expert Colin Tourick, who is director of Colin Tourick Associates.
  • SME business car leasing expert Martin Brown, the managing director of Fleet Alliance, the company which won the Small Fleet Leasing Awards, run by Business Car Manager.
  • Car expert Luke Madden, who is deputy news editor at Auto Express and the road test editor here at Business Car Manager.
  • SME business car leasing authority Steve Cocks, who is national sales manager at Lex Autolease – the UK’s biggest car leasing company.

An awards luncheon will be held for winners on January 16 January, 2014, in a Michelin starred London restaurant.
