Volkswagen Touran
Bigger, yet lighter than the model it replaces, the new Touran MPV’s evolutionary looks initially make it hard to tell the difference between this and the outgoing version of Volkswagen’s Vauxhall Zafira rival.
The Touran is the latest model to benefit from swapping into Volkswagen’s clever and versatile MQB platform. The result is the new Touran is 130mm longer and Volkswagen claim it is more spacious inside and has an extra 48 litres of boot space.
Outside, you’ll spot the new Touran by its three-bar front grille, LED headlights and the more aggressive definition down the sides. Engines are made up of a choice of petrol and diesel units with up to 187bhp. All are mated with a choice of manual of automatic transmissions. The new Touran will be launched in November.
