McLaren 675 LT
Not finished with its supercar assault, following the launch of the 12C, P1 and 650S, McLaren chose Geneva to launch this LT or Longtail limited version of the 650S. Taking its name from the Longtail version of the iconic McLaren F1, the 675 LT is basically a lighter, harder, more powerful and track-focussed version of the 650S.
Specification hasn’t been scrimped on, but the 675 LT is still an impressive 100kg lighter than the already stealthy 650S. The 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 has received a work over and the result is a power hike to 666bhp or 675PS (hence the name!), 0-62 acceleration in just 2.9 seconds!
Outside the body is 20mm broader – mainly down to the wider tracks and you’ll spot the 675 LT by its new front bumper, splitter, side sills and larger airbrake at the back. You’ll have to be quick and have deep pockets if you want a 675 LT, as McLaren are building just building 500 of them, priced at £259,500.
