VOLVO has launched a new Cross Country crossover version of its V60 estate.
The new Volvo V60 Cross Country, which was unveiled at this week’s Los Angeles Motor Show, offers a ruggedised design, increased ride height and a choice of front or all-wheel drive drivetrains.
Among the exterior changes for the Volvo V60 Cross Country, are increased ground clearance by 65 mm compared with the standard car, front and rear protective skid plates, bumper extenders and a range of larger 18- and 19-inch wheels with higher profile tyres.
Front-wheel drive versions of the Volvo V60 Cross Country estate are badged D3 and D4 and use Volvo’s new-generation Drive-E four-cylinder diesel engines, while the D4 all-wheel drive version uses the company’s five-cylinder diesel.
The Volvo V60 Cross Country is due to arrive in the UK in June 2015 and detailed prices and specifications will be released closer to the launch.
