IT’S all change for Robert Wastell, who’s left his comparecontracthire.com and business consultancy business to take up the reins as managing director of the leasing company Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions.

Robert, who has worked previously as sales director at Lex Vehicle Leasing, where he was actively involved in the strategy and growth of the company including the company’s leasing broker strategy, before leaving to run his own business.

Hitachi will certainly benefit from Robert’s extensive experience, which incorporates everything from the small business and SME market right through to the large corporate market.

The position of managing director is a new one at the Newbury-based contract hire and leasing company. It has been created, says Hitachi, to ensure the company is tightly focused on its expanding car business.
