Kwik-Fit Fleet: adding SMART repairs to services

Fast-fit firm provides fast dent removal

The fast-fit giant, Kwik-Fit Fleet, is growing its one-stop shop range of services and launching a SMART (Small to Medium Area Repair Technology) repair service.

SMART repairs include scratched, dented and chipped paintwork; scuffed alloys; and damaged bumpers. Interior trim and upholstery tears and cigarette burns on the inside of vans are also included.

Van operators will be able to trial the service inEdinburgh, Birmingham, St Helens, Telford and Slough, along with a mobile service in London.

Costs start at £45 for paintless dent removal. Kwik-Fit says its menu-driven SMART repair pricing is significantly cheaper than using a traditional bodyshop for minor repairs.

Kwik-Fit is providing its SMART repairs service seven days a week, either on an appointment or call-in basis, to minimise van downtime.

Mike Wise, head of Kwik-Fit Fleet, said: “We are continually looking to expand our range of added value services to small businesses. As a result, the number of company vans we are seeing is rising. We expect that figure to grow as more businesses utilise our range of services.”
