Kwik-Fit Fleet launches SMART repairs

Kwik-Fit Fleet, the fast-fit giant, is expanding its one-stop shop range of services.

It is launching a SMART (Small to Medium Area Repair Technology) repair service.

SMART repairs include scuffed alloys; scratched, dented and chipped paintwork; and scuffed bumpers. Interior trim and upholstery tears and cigarette burns on the inside of vehicles are also included.

Kwik-Fit says its menu-driven SMART repair pricing is significantly cheaper than using a traditional bodyshop for minor repairs.

SMART repair pricing starts at L45 for paintless dent removal.

The SMART repairs service is available seven days a week, either on an appointment or call-in basis, to minimise company car downtime.

Edinburgh, Birmingham, St Helens, Telford and Slough will trial the service, along with a mobile service in London.

Mike Wise, head of Kwik-Fit Fleet, said: “We are continually looking to expand our range of added value services to small businesses. As a result, the number of company cars we are seeing is rising and has now reached significantly more than 2.5 million. We expect that figure to continue to grow as more businesses utilise our range of services.”
