Volvo is aiming its new V70 2.0-litre estate models squarely at the small business market.

There is the choice of the 2.0-litre petrol Volvo V70 for £24,999.

And the 2.0-litre diesel Volvo V70 for £25,495.

Both models are available for delivery this month.

“We believe we’re the best value premium brand,” commented Selwyn Cooper, national corporate operations manager, Volvo.

“Along with XC90, the V70 is the most popular Volvo model with small businesses. These two new V70s will extend that value appeal further.”

The V70 2.0D is likely to be the most popular with business drivers. A 22% tax payer driver will pay £97 per month in company car tax; a 40% tax payer £177 per month.

According to HSBC DriverQuote, a Volvo V70 2.0D will cost £367 per month over a three year/30,000 mile contract hire with maintenance lease agreement.
