Porsche Boxster Spyder
Porsche showcased its second incarnation of the Boxster Spyder at New York, but this version has more up its sleeve than just a fancy fabric roof.
This is lightest, most powerful and most expensive Boxster Porsche has ever produced. Beneath the skin sits the 3.8-litre six-cylinder engine from the 911 range with power standing at 370bhp, enough to usher the drop top roadster from 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds.
The trademark hand operated roof remains but can be erected in a matter of seconds as opposed to the rather time-consuming mechanism used by the previous model.
