Mitsubishi Outlander
Hybrid SUVs seemed to be a theme at the New York Show and while most manufacturers were debuting their first foray into the market, Mitsubishi was showcasing its refreshed version of the popular Outlander PHEV.
With a focus on improving refinement, Mitsubishi has retuned the spring and dampers for a more comfortable ride, while thicker glass and increased sound deadening helps keep things clam on the move.
On the outside, the Outlander now features Mitsubishi’s new design language, with the wide mouth ‘dynamic shield’ grille incorporating sleek headlamps and rugged bumper protection. The popular PHEV model is also expected to receive some efficiency tweaks to help boost economy and reduce charging times.
