The Bipper has been made in conjunction with Citroen and Fiat, who have their own versions: Nemo and Fiorino, respectively.
The Bipper has been designed for city work. It’s compact – only 3.86m long – and easy to drive and easy to park.
It’s also easy to load. There are asymmetric hinged rear doors. And sliding side doors.
There are two engines. A 75bhp 1.4-litre petrol engine; and a 68bhp 1.4-litre HDi diesel with CO2 emissions of 119g/km.
The HDi diesel engine has the option of an electronically controlled manual gearbox.
The floor load length is 1.52m, with a maximum interior height of 1.18m. The width between the wheel arches is 1.05m, giving a total usable volume of 2.5 m3. Payload is 610kg.
For longer items, such as ladders, the front seat folds into the floor. This extends load length to 2.49m.
Prices will be announced next year.
