TLS Vehicle Rental expands van rental convenience

A NEW ‘Collect Me’ option has been added to TLS Vehicle Rental’s van2go web site, designed to make the service even more convenient.

Customers simply click on the Collect Me button when they book a van, type in where and when they would like to be collected from. TLS then calls the customer confirming the booking within one business hour, also providing a cost for the Collect Me service based on time and distance travelled.

If the customer agrees, TLS sends a vehicle to take the customer to the TLS branch where the hire vehicle is waiting.

Simon Cook, sales leader, said: “Van2go is all about providing an easy and cost-effective van rental service to small business customers. ‘Collect Me’ is an option that will make that service even more convenient. We believe it could prove very popular.”

He added that van2go had been gathering momentum quickly since its launch at the start of the year with an especially strong June showing a notable spike in sales. Cook said: “Mainly through word of mouth recommendations, van2go is gaining popularity and we are optimistic that we will see strong results through the remainder of the summer.”

www.van2go.co.uk gives small business customers the ability to book online any vehicle from a car-derived van from TLS Vehicle Rental through panel vans of various sizes up to a maximum of 7.5 tonnes. A selection of cars is available too.

Prices start at £26.99 per day including VAT and collision damage waiver, with vehicle collection from any of TLS’s 30 branches across the UK. If you are using the van to move house, you can even buy cardboard boxes and tea chests online as well.
