Infiniti has updated the Q70, its luxury performance BMW 5 Series rival, which now has a new lower entry price of £32,650.
The big news for company car drivers – the previous 3.0-litre V6 diesel has been replaced by a 2.2-litre engine from Infiniti’s partner Mercedes with tax-friendlier 129g/km CO2 emissions.
The new engine is expected to be the most popular choice for the updated Infiniti Q70 in the UK and it’s paired with a seven-speed automatic gearbox.

With standard Premium trim, the updated Infiniti Q70 has full LED headlights, chromed accents on the front grille, a rear-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, sat nav, eighteen-inch wheels and leather seats.
Sport models get twenty-inch wheels and other visual tweaks.
The Q70 continues to be available with the option of a 3.7-litre petrol V6 petrol power and also, a hybrid drivetrain. The updated Infiniti Q70 will arrive in the UK in January 2015.
